Nexus Inno Convention 2023 (InnoCon 2023) marked a milestone for Singapore as it hosted the nation's inaugural in-person polytechnic legal-tech hackathon last October 2-6, 2023.
Lexagle is honoured to have been an official event partner at InnoCon 2023, with some of our team members acting as mentors to the entrepreneurial students of Temasek Polytechnic during the event. Participants delved into the fundamentals of design thinking, gaining insight into key stages of the design process.
Our workshops emphasised the significance of a user-centred approach to design, teaching attendees how to pinpoint user pain points and unmet needs. Brainstorming and idea prioritization were also key focuses, equipping participants with skills to turn theory into action and innovation. The sessions spanned three critical areas: design thinking fundamentals, user experience design, and the art of storytelling, which are all essential to building user-centric solutions.
Lexagle also participated in the evaluation of the Legal-Tech Hackathon entries, with our very own co-founder, Jimmy Tan, joining the ranks of other esteemed judges, namely: Tay Boon Keat, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department and RIE & Partnership Development; Melvin Chee, Client Engagement Lead at Rajah & Tan Technologies; and Wong Khai Leng, Course Chair of Law & Management.
